FIN DE SIÉCLE

"VIENNESE JUGENDSTIL"

THE VIENNA SECESSION

"Every age its art, every art its freedom"

In the spirit of the magazine "Ver Sacrum" - the "Holy Spring"

"Ver Sacrum" - the title is based on an ancient Roman custom in which young men - born in spring (Latin: "ver") - were sent out to found new clans.

Founding something new – at the time of the fin de siècle in Vienna this was the demand par excellence, and it is valid again today.

A walk to the most outstanding examples of Austrian Art Nouveau and its protagonists such as Klimt, Moll, Hoffmann, Olbrich, Wagner, Oerly and many more.

Alternatives:

* Visit of Leopold Museum - the leading for "Vienna 1900" with Klimt, Schiel, Kokoschka, Moser, Hoffmann, Wagner etc

* Visit of Belvedere Museum - with Klimt´s "Kiss"
